Your Hosts ~ Carol & Peter Molnar

Carol was born and raised in Bronxville, New York . She attended and graduated from Bronxville High School & Sweet Briar Collage in Amherst, VA, majoring in Spanish. After living abroad in Seville, Spain for a semester, she recieved her B.A. in Spanish from Sweet Briar.

After graduation, Carol entered the banking industry. Due to her attention to detail and knowledge of financing she rapidly advanced to the Mortgage Underwriting Supervisor position for East River Savings Bank. She served there for five years before leaving the corporate world to be a full time Innkeeper.

In her new enviornment, Carol's outstanding culinary talents have earned high praise for her gourmet breakfasts including, among other favorites, Belgian Waffles and Eggs Benedict. Carol's interior decoration adds to the reputation guests have come to know and expect at the Margaretville Mountain Inn.

Peter, originally from New Rochelle, New York and a graduate of New Rochelle High School, attended George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where he earned his B.S. in International Affairs.

Today he is an Estate Planner and Financial Consulant in his firm Molnar Financial Group, serving the Greater Catskills and Hudson Valley Region in N.Y.

A Desert Storm veteran, Major Pete is also a pilot in the USMC Reserves flying KC-130's out of Stewart Interational in Newburgh, N.Y. Filling the position of the Inn's co-host for the 10 years they've been in business, Peter's charm and personality complement that of Carol's to create a warm and truly welcome environment.

Both Carol and Peter are active in the community of the Village of Margaretville and host the town's annual Easter Egg Hunt on the beautiful grounds of the Margaretville Mountain Inn.
